GymOne B.V. is responsible for the processing of personal data as reflected in this privacy statement. If you have a GymOne membership, want to take out a GymOne membership or visit our website out of interest, we need certain information and data from you. Laws and regulations apply to the processing of your data, including the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG). Below we have listed for you which data we process, why we do so and how we handle your personal data. We also explain how you can influence how GymOne processes your personal data. Because we are a dynamic company in a rapidly developing environment, it is important that we update our privacy policy from time to time. You can always find the most current status on our website. We therefore advise you to visit this page regularly.

Which of your data are we processing?
GymOne processes personal data. According to the AVG, personal data is "any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person ("the data subject")." This is therefore any data that can be traced back to your person.

Data of our (potential) members When entering into a GymOne membership, we process at least your name, address, place of residence, date of birth, bank account number, telephone number and your e-mail address.

Even if you already have a GymOne membership, we continue to process this type of personal data. For example, every time you visit our gym or contact us by phone or email.

Data of our website visitors We also process (personal) data of every visitor to our website. This may include personal data that you enter yourself on the website, such as your e-mail address, name, home or work address or telephone number.

Surf and click behavior In addition, we collect information about your visit to our website. This is primarily data that your browser sends by default to every website you visit. Think of your IP address. We may also collect information about which pages of our website you view, which links you click, how often you visit our website and what other actions you perform; in other words, your surfing and clicking behavior.

Cookies A cookie is a small amount of data, which a server sends to your browser, with the intention of storing it and sending it back to the server the next time you visit. In this way, the server can easily recognize your browser again.Our website uses (temporary) cookies. Sometimes these are third-party cookies. GymOne has no access to these third-party cookies.

Social Media Data that you enter yourself on social media or that we collect as a result of your responses to social media statements are processed by GymOne. This may include personal data that you enter yourself on the contact page of the platform concerned, such as your e-mail address, name or telephone number.

How do we handle children's data?
Our services are not targeted at children. This means that the use of gymone.co.uk by customers under the age of 18 is permitted only with the express consent of a parent or guardian.

Why do we process your data?
Services Without processing your personal data, GymOne cannot provide its services to you. For example, we would not be able to create a membership card, which would prevent you from accessing a GymOne facility. Or if you have asked us a question, we cannot answer it. When granting access to GymOne, an image of the member in question is visually displayed during the scanning of the pass. GymOne cannot exclude the possibility that the image in question, intended for the desk employee, is visible to bystanders during the scanning of the pass.

GymOne works together with partners, for example to offer our services or to collect outstanding invoices. It is therefore possible that we provide your personal data to these partners. We require our partners to at least comply with the Wbp. They must handle your personal data with care and are prohibited from using your data for anything other than the purpose for which it was provided to them.

Legal obligation GymOne may be required by law or regulation to process your personal data and/or provide it to third parties. For example, when a competent authority such as the police requests it in the context of a criminal investigation.

Marketing and sales activities GymOne can process your personal data for marketing and sales activities (also after termination of your membership) for its own services or those of GymOne affiliates. Your data are then used for making offers, both in writing, by telephone and electronically (including via e-mail).

To be clear, we do not sell our members' personal data to third parties for them to use for their direct marketing activities!

(Market) research and analysis We may use your personal data to conduct research and analysis, with the aim of improving both our website and our services.

Cookies GymOne uses functional and analytical cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored in the browser of your computer, tablet or smartphone when you first visit this website. GymOne uses cookies with a purely technical functionality. These ensure that the website works properly and that, for example, your preferences are remembered. These cookies are also used to make the website work properly and to optimise it. In addition, we place cookies that track your surfing behavior so that we can offer tailored content and advertisements. During your first visit to our website we have already informed you about these cookies and asked your permission to place them.

How do we handle your data
Security GymOne ensures appropriate organizational, technical and physical security of its members' data. Therefore, your data cannot be viewed by all GymOne employees. In addition, we only use your data in accordance with our privacy policy. If you feel that your data is not properly protected or there are indications of abuse, please contact our customer service.

Retention period We retain your data to the extent necessary to fulfill the purposes for which we process your data and no longer than permitted by law. The ultimate retention period varies according to the type of personal data. If you have a GymOne membership, we will keep your data at least for the duration of your membership.

Depending on your browser settings, temporary cookies are deleted shortly after your visit.

How can you influence the processing of your personal data?
Inspection Every member has the right to inspect his or her personal data. Of course you can ask in your gym, what data they have registered from you there.

Should that not suffice, you can submit a request for inspection by sending a letter to GymOne, PO Box 102, 1960 AC at Heemskerk , stating "request for inspection" and providing your name, address, fixed and/or mobile telephone number and a copy of a valid identification document.

Correction Every member also has the right to have his or her personal data corrected if it is incorrect. You can also have this done at your branch. Should this not be possible for any reason, you can send a letter to the aforementioned address stating "correction request" and providing your name, address, fixed and/or mobile telephone number and a copy of a valid ID. We will provide a written response within 4 weeks.

Objection When your personal data are used for purposes other than those necessary for the performance of a contract or than those necessary for the fulfillment of a legal obligation, you can object to such use. You can therefore especially oppose the use of your data for commercial purposes, such as direct marketing activities as well as the provision of your data to third parties for the same direct marketing purposes. You can do so even if you have previously given your consent to such use.

Therefore, if you object to GymOne using your personal data for the commercial purposes listed below, please send a:

- Email provided with name, address, landline and/or cell phone number and a copy of valid identification to administratie@gymone.nl. We will respond within 4 weeks of the online objection. - Or letter provided with name, address, landline and/or cell phone number and a copy of a valid identification document to our mailing address. We will respond within 4 weeks of the written objection.

Please state clearly in your letter which form of use of your personal data you object to: - GymOne direct mailing by mail; and/or - Commercial e-mail, including GymOne's newsletter; and/or - Telemarketing by GymOne.

Naturally, we will do everything possible to process your objection administratively as quickly as possible. It may take some time before we have done this and it is therefore possible that you will be contacted by us in the meantime. By the way, you can stop commercial approach via e-mail much easier by following the instructions mentioned in the e-mail message!

No cookies Your web browser - like most web browsers - will automatically accept cookies. You can adjust your browser settings yourself. Depending on your browser and your permissions, you can choose to automatically reject all cookies. However, if you choose this option, there is a chance that certain features of the websites you visit, including GymOne's website, will no longer work or be unavailable to you.

Third-party cookies, affiliated with the industry association Interactive Advertising Bureau Netherlands (IAB) will not be automatically placed on your hard drive from September 2011, regardless of your settings. GymOne takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent abuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification. If you feel that your data is not properly protected or there are indications of abuse, please contact our customer service.
